Kirill Kirilenko joined CRU in November 2010. He primarily covers precious metals such as Gold, Platinum and Palladium, and is an editor of Precious Metals Quarterly Industry and Market Outlooks.

Prior to CRU, Kirill worked as a Metals Analyst for GFMS, a precious metals consultancy, and for a number of other companies focusing on precious metals markets and based both in the UK and Russia, including the precious metals refiner Johnson Matthey Plc.

Kirill holds a PhD in Economics from the St. Petersburg State University for Engineering and Economics – ENGECON, Russia.

John is Director of Member and Market Relations at the World Gold Council, leading its programmes to support it members and its engagement with partner and stakeholder organisations.

Additionally, he contributes to the organisation’s wider research and communications outputs to improve understanding of the whole gold supply chain.

He has written extensively and comments regularly on gold market, investment strategy and sustainability issues. Recently, John was responsible for the production of key research on the socio-economic impacts of the gold market and gold mining, and the relationship between gold production and climate change.

John joined the World Gold Council in early 2005, working initially on investment research and then, from 2007, as Investment Marketing Manager, specifically addressing institutional and HNW investors.

John has worked in or around the financial markets for over 25 years, including senior roles in business development, product management and marketing, trading systems and market data analysis.

Beyond the financial markets, John has consulted on research and knowledge management projects for a range of clients, from small businesses to supranational organisations.

John has degrees from the University of Sussex and Birkbeck College, University of London.

Denis Alexandrov

Denis Alexandrov has served as Chief Executive Officer of Highland Gold’s operating arm, Russdragmet LLC, since January 2016. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Alexandrov held a series of senior positions and board memberships at mining and natural resources companies, most recently as CEO and Director of Auriant Mining AB, a Swedish company focused on gold production in Russia, and as Managing Director at A1 Investment Company and Chief Financial Officer at Arlan Investment Company, both of which had substantial holdings in the mining industry. From 2003 to 2006, Mr Alexandrov worked as Finance Director and board member at Highland Gold. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland (USA) and Far-Eastern State University (Russia), holds an eMBA from the Skolkovo Moscow School of Management, and is a chartered accountant (UK).

Egor Bogdanov

Egor Bogdanov – General Director of New Ore Company LLC since its foundation in 2017.

In 2012, he graduated from the Law Faculty of the Higher School of Economics under the Corporate Law program. Since 2013, he held various positions in the investment division of Energy Corporation, working on oil and gas projects in Yamal, in Western and Eastern Siberia. At this time, the idea arises of acquiring ore projects under the leadership of a new team.

Today, the New Ore Company owns more than 20 licenses for gold and polymetallic facilities located in the regions of Siberia and the Far East. Under the leadership of Bogdanov E.V., offices were formed in the city of Khabarovsk and in the city of Yekaterinburg. The company is actively conducting exploration work and is engaged in designing field development.

At the end of 2019, it is expected that the total reserves will be more than 130 tons of gold. Their main share is in 4 licenses with proven reserves on the state balance sheet.

Alexander Lopatnikov

Alexander Lopatnikov, Managing Partner of AAR (formerly American Appraisal. Russia), has been managing valuation and consulting services for mining companies for over twenty years. He has experience in many countries around the world for companies such as Norilsk Nickel, ERG, Polymetal, Molycorp, Rusal, Kazakhmys, Evraz, LARCO, Mechel, Polyus, Severstal-Resource, Petropavlovsk, IRC Ltd, Mongolian Mining Corportation, Metalloinvest, Chalco and many others.

Mr. Lopatnikov participated in the group of experts of the International Assessment Council, which developed assessment standards for the extractive industries. Alexander Lopatnikov is a member of OERN, the American Society of Appraisers, the Russian Society of Appraisers, and the Royal Institute of Certified Appraisers (RICS).

Alexander Lopatnikov is the author of a large number of publications on the value of mining projects and companies, their assessment and risk management. For many years, he has taught the course “Cost Management” at the IDAB School of Business at State University of Management.

Mikhail Leskov

Mikhail Leskov, Deputy General Director in Institute of Geotechnology (Russia), is metallurgist with more that 35 years’ experience in management, engineering and consultancy for the wide range of project for exploration, mining and extracting of different mineral commodities. Recently he is working also as a Board Member and Advisor to the Board in a number of Russian and international companies in mineral sector.

Previously he worked on top positions inside large mineral holdings in Russia such as Atomredmetzoloto (ARMZ), Russian Platinum Group, Severstal Group, Gazprombank Group and Renova Group and GV Gold.

Mr. Leskov has a broad consulting and engineering experience, spending a decade in one of largest Soviet institutes (VNIPROzoloto/Ginalmazzoloto), been running his own consulting company (NBLgold) two more decades and also co-operating many years with various other local and international consultancies and engineering companies.

Graduated initially as mineral processing engineer in Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys, with speciality on an Engineering and Design for Mineral Processing/Beatification Plants.

Head of Section for Evaluation and Valuation for Mineral Properties in Russian Society of Experts for Sub-soil Use/OERN (Russian RPO&NRO under CRIRSCO).

Member (with “Director” status) of Association of Independent Directors (Russia).
